After four consecutive years of turning them down because of inconvenient timing, in 2011 we finally accepted Jen and Zac's invite to go family camping at Alice Lake, and we are certainly glad we did!

We took Friday off and headed up to Alice Lake, a few hours North of Vancouver on Friday afternoon. We were in the group section of the campground, a total of 5 families or 20 people, and we had great fun! We roasted marshmallow's around the campfire. Kayla had a wonderful time riding her bike around the campground loop with about 10 other kids. There was a great playground where the kids played. A few of the adults went for a more serious mountain bike ride and although outclassed in skill, Glen greatly enjoyed it. Susan ran a fun kids camp while the adults were out riding.

We're definitely in for next year!
